My Little Adventure

Yes, i've had some 'adventures' lately
well, it's not something that's very interesting
BUT it's definitely something that i'll NEVER do in my entire life if i'm not taking this project
First of all, i don't think i'll ever climb down a drain like this!

It's so muddy and slippery. Even the snails here are XL-size.. hmm.. i don't see why

A little souvenir i got back from the drain.. a very big, empty shell (without any 'meat')
I must have looked so pathetic that even those foreign workers helped me to find the snail.
Luckily i'm not alone, or else i'll really look like a mad woman
I just hope i don't need to get down to this drain anymore!
The worst is yet to come..

My worst nightmare is here!! The dirtiest and smelliest mangrove i've ever encountered
There's just so many rubbish here and there and it's really hard to get down to the mangrove tree to collect the specimen.. landslide.. if you are not careful enough.
Now i know why my supervisor doesn't wanna tag along with me :S

This is the endangered species that i collected from the mangroves. The operculum is different from those species that i caught, it's very porcelain-like and the shell is much more harder and a bit flurry too.

Apart from snail, what i get is just a dirty and smelly shoes from THAT rubbish n drain water..

.....EWWW.......

Special thanks to PF who accompanied me and helped me to take some photos to show that i'm doing my work
