On a sunny morning in St John's Island

When SUPERVISOR is not around.. muahahaha

it's time to explore

But, the truth is not always what you want.. malunya,

but nevermind supervisor is not around, I can take my own sweet time,

and so i move to the lagoon...

A nerita sp.!! You don't know how excited i was on finding it at the lagoon

Moving on to another spot

Towards the left of this photo is the water. I need to walk like a crab along the trail on the left of this pic in order to not fall into the water. It's really not easy being a crab. It's low tide in the morning, a lot of activities is going on for the marine snails. So, most of them are moving out at this spot. I saw quite a few species besides the one i am trying to find. Another challenge for my eyes...

30 mins or more passed...

Manage to grab as much as i can find, and it's time to head back to the lab

The outer plants can outgrowth the host and will end up covering it

Cats... very common in SJI. All the cats there are early birds. You wouldn't really see them in the afternoon.
