THEY ARE PUFFINS.
They have the size of a bird, the distinguished penguin's white chest and black back, the leg of a duck, and the beak of a parrot.
At first glance, it looks like a smaller version of penguin to me. However, they are not related to penguins at all. Puffins are actually seabird. Yes, as a bird, they fly. However, unlike most birds they are able to dive as they feed on fish. I guess that's where their webbed feet come into use.
Its beak is very colourful as can be seen from the picture, it looks like a flower of a plant.. argh can't remember what's the name (plants is just sooo not my cup of tea)..well, anyway to attract mates, i presume. They shed their outer colourful beak into duller ones after breeding season.Well, these are basically some of the facts i found about puffin after doing some googling work. I actually find it quite interesting, not a very typical bird. Evolution huh.. haha. Let's just hope that it's not going into extinction. Would love to see a real one!!
