Happy is what descibed me best today lol
Went to Sentosa today
actually, it's the first time i went to Sentosa ever since i study in NUS
Surprised right?
But seriously, everything cost $$$$ in Sentosa. If it wasn't for the free ticket, i don't think i'll step my foot on Sentosa Island. But I had so much fun today =)
Our first destination in Sentosa was the Dolphin Lagoon. No close contact with the dolphins, and you need to pay to take picture and touch the pink dolphin!!!! Wasn't many things there, only get to see some shows by dolphins. I totally feel in love with dolphins, they are such smart and lovely creatures!!
The next destination is, of course, Underwater World. I had quite high expectations on it, and it didn't really let me down =) the first thing we see is the touchpool. As the name suggested, you have a hands-on experience with the sea creatures there. And it's the only place where you can touch the animals as much as you like and you don't have to pay for it!! well, cause basically it's already included in the ticket fee but mine is free >.< Hmph.. have to say they are all very docile animals although they tend to shy away after being touched. I manage to touch some fishes like pufferfish and sting-ray... yes sting-ray, and the sting-rays there give me a feeling of cats, they like to stick to you as in they will approach you to let you 'sayang' them, they don't shy away as much as the other fishes do. How do they felt like? well, they are smooth and soft just like the everyday fish you eat. It took us quite some time here. It's really fun; a lot of new and nice things that make me curious about. (each of us took like 100+ of photos in total!!)
Then, we moved on to the next segment, there are other marine creatures: crabs, some fossil anemonites.. amonites.. can't recall the name =.=, more fishes, jelly fish and sea angel. Both jelly fish and sea-angel look transparent under the light and are very beautiful-looking. Do you know that sea-angels have wings?? it looks to me as if they are flying freely..aww..
Finally, the last segment that we have been waiting for, THE famous 83m acrylic tunnel!! (i did some homework beforehand k!) it's where we have the most fun. I guess it's not due to the place but more on the people..lol.. we did a lot of crazy and funny things and we go on and on the tunnel for 4 rounds!! Actually, there's nothing special about it except my friend, THE dugong which is mentioned by prof chou i think, in lecture, it's in the aquarium too and was woken up by SY lol. We went back after that cause that's the only two venues we get tickets for free, get lost some more, had our dinner and missed a stop (from talking).
It's really a fun experience and many of our FIRST TIME (0.o). Oh ya, and you can see a lot of peacocks, be it male or female in Sentosa. Its appearance is the same as the frequency of stray cats and dogs that you find outside (Sentosa i mean). We even take a photo with it =)
*yawn* was very tired now.. plus feeling a bit guilty for not studying much today... *yawn*
